Since I started creating flatlay illustrations, I haven’t been able to stop making tile brushes to use in my flatlays! There are endless tile patterns to be inspired by, and I love how adding the tile into your flatlays takes it from boring to bold and full of life in a few seconds.
I created 3 new tile brushes that I want to share with you as a free download below. I chose 3 different themes inspired by tiles from around the world.
A Moroccan tile, inspired by the intricate detailed tiles in mosques and markets.
Spanish tile, inspired by the bold tile in cafes and bars throughout Spain.
And Mexican tile, inspired by the varied hodgepodge of pattern and color throughout Mexico.
I made the tiles using the process in my new class on Flatlay Illustrations in Procreate, so check out the class to see how I created these brushes.
You can use these brushes for flatlay illustrations like this one, or use them as backgrounds for lettering or other illustrations!
*If you’re already on my email list, enter your email above to get the brushes in your inbox.
If you use the brushes, I’d love to see what you make! Tag me @LizKohlerBrown so I can see what you do with them!*
*You can use these brushes for personal or commercial use, but of course the one limitation is that you cannot sell or give away the brushes themselves. Anything you make on your own iPad is fair game!
